Hey Internet world thought I would just write an update about what I have been doing in Pismo Beach California, It has been a really chill summer here in the central coast we have been doing a lot of reaching out to the community that has been super fun. 

I am still attending the local surf bible study every Tuesday we have been going through the book of John which is always a good time the students that attend are really starting to get involved which is great to see! I have been trying to surf a lot so I am getting my exercise, 2 weekends ago myself and a few others from the central coast had the chance to go to the US open of surfing down in Hunnington Beach  that was super fun I had a blast and  it was fun to get away for the weekend. 

Last weekend we as a base had the joy of spending sometime with some of the homeless in the central coast and I had a blast I absolutely love homeless people, there is a homeless guy named Daniel and he  knows the bible so well it made me feel like a terrible christian but it also inspired me to study it and memorize it more so that was good. We were blessed to hang out with him for the entire afternoon we got to hear some of his story and shared some tacos with him he was a real blessing.

Agape- For Today 

Hello friends it has been a while since I have done an update so here we go, Life in YWAM is challenging having to rely an God for finances so  I am learning quickly about patience with God just knowing that things happen in his time not ours is really tough to understand at least for me it is.

But I know he has it under it all under control, Well on to what I have been up to since my last bloggity blog, Lets see I have found a church (Father’s house) that I think will become my home church here in California the church family is well just that a family I love it they are all great people there I am looking forward to buliding relationships with them.

I have also been attending a bible study held at a local surf shop, This is no normal study either the way they do things reminds me a lot of the Acts church Paul describes. We all go out and surf together as a big group, eat dinner and then dive into God’s word it is really awesome the study is short and sweet and to the point it really has an impact on the kids and adults that attend it. I have been getting settled in here doing office work, outreaches to the community.

A few weeks back we went and helped glean an artichoke field which was actually super fun we had a blast serving the people there we figure we picked close to 3000lbs. of artichokes that day these tasty morsels were delivered to food banks, churches and the poor , It was a good time for me to get to know the new staff on base that I have not had the chance to meet yet.

I have jumped on staff with SFMI (surfers for missions international) We are planning on doing a bunch of cool stuff I am excited to see what is going to happen, We are planning a trip to Nicaragua in August I would like to attend but I do not have the finances but I feel God will provide for me if I am supposed to go. I have also been surfing a fair bit trying to get back into it and I can honestly say that I suck at it but I am slowly remembering things and I am having a blast doing it.

Hello friends,

So I have decided to make a blog I really have no clue as to what I am doing so bare with me here also I do not really care about grammar so ya here we go.

The first month here in the central coast of California has been swell I spent the first 2 weeks here in orientation that was interesting and informative, I have been trying to find a local church here 3 churches have asked me to play bass so that is exciting. I have also started a personal study on cults which is really interesting and I am looking forward to continue it for the next coming months.

The staff here have made me feel more than welcomed I felt like part of the family from day one, living in community is awesome I love it and I have missed it my roommates and I have great relationships and it is like a family here I like it a lot.

I have been attending a bible study at a local surf shop in Pismo Beach and that is exciting it is short but it really impacts the kids that attend, This coming Tuesday I get to teach the study which is pretty freaking awesome. I have been in the water building relationships with local surfers I enjoy that a lot I am a little rusty at surfing but it is still a blast.

I have joined a a ministry that we do here at YWAM Pismo Beach it is called SFMI which stands for Surfers for missions international and I am super stoked about getting more involved with that ministry we are planning a week long outreach in August to Nicaragua to run some surf camps and do help out in local villages  I would love to go on this outreach if I have the finances for it so keep that in your prayers please and thank you. I have also been asked if i wanted to staff a DTS next summer which I am still praying about.

I am excited to see what God is going to do through me and in me while I am here in the central coast a few prayer requests that I have that you can lift up while you pray: Finances, clarity, direction here in the central coast, getting plugged in with the right  local church, God to open doors here in the Central coast.
